where did you get your wood?

When we were setting up our shop, we were in need of additional machines so we looked through the online ads and found a woodworker who was going out of business. For an amount of money, he was selling EVERYTHING, including all of his wood stock.

As we sifted through the piles and piles of wood, we were thrilled to find a wide variety of stock available for us to choose from for making pens and other turned products.

what about rare or endangered wood?

When we inventoried our wood selection, we also did some research for each type of wood. Through this process we found several wood varieties that are on a watch list or protected. We decided at that moment that we would not be purchasing any of these wood products once our inventory was depleted.

It is our commitment to you, our customer, to only purchase wood that is sustainably grown, re-purposed, or salvaged from destruction.
